Dear Colleagues,

As a part of The World Congress 'The Frontier of Intelligent Data and Signals Analysis DSA 2015', the 10th International Conference on Mass Data Analysis of Signals and Images with Applications in Medicine, r/g/b Biotechnology, Food Industries and Dietetics, Biometry and Security, and Agriculture MDA 2015 is the most important international congress dedicated to this subject. This year MDA 2015 was held in Hamburg, Germany, July 2015. Officially known as Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg (Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg), the city is the second largest city in Germany and the eighth largest city in the European Union, is also a transport hub and an affluent city in Europe. The Organizing Committee is pleased to report that once again MDA Conference proved to be a must for specialists from research and industry who are interested to be in touch with the news about mass data analysis of signals and images. Renewed as an exclusive and select scientific conference, MDA 2015 have an acceptance rate of 33%. Foreword to participants was addressed by Professor Dr. Petra Perner, the Director of IBAI Institute from Leipzig, and the Chairman of MDA 2015 who underlined the acceptance of papers which address topics range from Nuclear Medicine, Material Characterization in Production, System Biology, Medical Histological Image Analysis, Video Mining in Agriculture, and Spectrometer-Signal Analysis. A tutorial on Standardization of Immunofluorescence and a tutorial on Intelligent Image Interpretation has been presented by Professor Dr. Petra Perner in connection with the MDA 2015 Conference.

Authors and audience of this year edition of MDA Conference were from three continents: Germany, Sweden, France, China, Romania, and United States of America, where the next edition of MDA will take place, respectively the 11th conference will be held in 2016 in New York, July 10-12, under the auspices of the World Congress Frontier on Intelligent Data Analysis DSA 2016.

The traditional Best Paper Award went this edition to paper entitled 'A Concurrent Skeleton-based Approach for the Characterization of Wood Fibers with Sub-pixel Precision for Fiber Board Production', authors Benjamin Seppke, Christian Bahnisch, Jan Benthien, Sabrina Heldner and Martin Ohlmeyer from Hamburg University, Germany.

MDA 2015 redoubled its efforts to build on the original mandate of being on the forefront of research discoveries by applying the Carl Friedrich Gauss motto: Pauca Sed Matura. MDA Organizing Committee is working to broaden the Conference income portfolio, cultivate new partnerships, and strengthen old ones and pilot events for a newly scientific challenges.

Please join us next year to continue together!
